are produced on Ayurvedic principles. As we know, Ayurveda
is an ancient system of medicine indigenous to India. This
Sanskrit word when split has two components. The first component
is " Ayu", which means life and the second "Veda" means
the knowledge. The knowledge of Ayurveda and its practical
application draws its strength from the ancient literature
known as the "Vedic texts". On the unique qualities and
effectiveness of Herbal Ayurvedic medicines. For several
generations extended over 3,000 years, researchers and
practicing physicians in this field have passed on their
practical experience and knowledge by constant trial, testing,
refining and upgrading the production techniques of these
drugs.
The term "CHIRAYU" in
Sanskrit language means "Long & Healthy Life". Hence, our parent
company, the Chirayu Pharmaceuticals
has derived its name.
Our company is dedicated to develop a wide range of products
to cater to the needs of long and healthy life for mankind. We
have developed an effective range of products, to target the
needs not only of broad-based health care, but also to focus
on the prevention and cure of several common ailments. These
products are all naturally derived from herbs, twines, seeds,
roots, gums, flowers, latex, etc. By being natural, these

founded and evolved under the ownership of Dr. R.K.
Chhaparwal
, MBBS., DTD. In 1957, Dr. Chhaparwal did his
medical degree and training in modern medicine from G.R.
Medical College, Gwalior, India. Subsequently, he did diploma
in Tuberculosis from another famed institution, K.G's Medical
College, Lucknow, India. Since graduation and higher training,
Dr. Chhaparwal had served in Health Department of the
Government of Madhya Pradesh India.
Concurrently, Dr.
Chhaparwal learnt the Ayurvedic system of medicine as a hobby
from his late father, who himself was an eminent Ayurvedic
Physician in Gwalior, India. Besides being a physician he was
responsible for establishing his credit as a producer of
Ayurvedic Medicine. Dr. Chhaparwal after obtaining a degree in
Ayurved (Herbal Medicines) assisted his father and learnt the
intricacies of this system of medicine and the principals of
treatment and production. This unique opportunity enabled Dr.
Chhaparwal to nurture his innate talent to the present status
by giving hands on experience.
Thus Dr. Chhaparwal
has established his name not only as a renowned physician
practising in the field of modern medicine, but concurrently,
in the Ayurvedic system also. Due to unique interest and
experience in both fields, he has been able to render an
excellent service to the humanity and suffering masses for
about 40 years.
Dr. Chhaparwal's natural
inclination and love for
indigenous medicine, led him to attain the degree
of "Ayurved Ratna". He got the training by assisting his father
in the mass production of Ayurvedic/Herbal medicines popular amongst
masses in India. Which subsequently gave birth to "Chirayu
Pharmaceuticals"
, his own dream company.
This company has been founded on a unique blend of sound
principles of modern medical practices and ancient system of
Ayurveda.
Since its inception,
